Dear Friends in the Fluid Field,

As I witness the sunset this hot summer night in the Mojave Desert I reflect on how Nature has no problem, rush or agenda with TRANSITION.

When the sun sets behind the hills it takes HOURS for darkness to set in. There is an “afterglow” of the sun’s radiance and the whole sky pauses.

Colors slowly change. Clouds spiral into mesmerizing shapes.

Light and shadows tango with each other in deep intimacy merging and becoming each other in inseparable wholeness.

The moon, full few days ago, transitions into different shapes and sizes until it seemingly disappears from the sky.

Bees, in their insatiable thirst for nectar, take a PAUSE before transitioning to the next flower to pollinate.

I feel in my being resisting to take the time and attention TRANSITION requires until it organically morphs into the next expression of my day, my year, my career, my relationships, my aging process, my body, my every breath!

I have found the teachings of Emilie Conrad, founder of Continuum, to be invaluable in shifting my way of being with transition.

Continuum taught me to trust my breath, to trust the pause between inhale and exhale, to trust the next inhale will come, to trust my body, to trust my timing, to pause in between and listen, not assuming what is next.

Continuum taught me to follow the nuances of micro-movements even if nothing happens for a long time…just wait…listen…rest…pause until my inner ocean awakens and trickles through me guiding me in the transition.

Please join me for our At-Home Continuum September Immersion to play and discover ways of being more comfortable and at ease with the in-between states as we Spiral into the many Transitions of our lives.

In March we explored Spiraling into Creation, in May Spiraling through Birth and in July Spiraling through Being with a committed and experienced group of practitioners. In September I invite you to join us to explore Spiraling into Transition with the incredible tools Continuum offers.

We slow down enough to merge with the watery medium of our embryonic development. We re-member our origins. We begin to make peace and integrate our history with a wider perspective, embracing ALL the spirals of life we have traversed in the different seasons of our journey.

My intention is to open the space to explore how from the vastness of space we begin the process of spiraling into a more condensed, organized and recognizable organism. How once we come out of the watery womb where we developed, we begin our evolution through the different seasons of our lives, aware and present to the knowingness we will eventually transition back to the vastness where we came from.

Please join us for these 4 weeks in September!! Being in discovery and inquiry with friends that value in-body explorations have proven to be the best medicine I can find for meeting the turbulent and uncertain times we live in.

Warmly,
Marcella

…..when death comes
like an iceberg between the shoulder blades,

I want to step through the door full of curiosity, wondering:
what is it going to be like, that cottage of darkness?

And therefore I look upon everything
as a brotherhood and a sisterhood,
and I look upon time as no more than an idea,
and I consider eternity as another possibility,…..
